Download and Use Instructions for School Security First (SSF)
Parents, you will need to download the mobile app before your child does.
This allows you to track the location of your child after an emergency has cleared.

Once you download the mobile app from the app store, You will want to allow for notifications.

Type in the name of school

Select Position: Parent or Student

Next, enter your phone number starting with +1 then your area code followed by your phone number

You will be asked to enter a one- time password (OTP) as part of our 2-step authentication system.

For Students: Next, select “Continue” then select “Allow While Using App”. This will allow your parent(s) to turn on the GPS and track your location in case of an emergency.

You have successfully downloaded the School Security First mobile app.

If students are alerted to an emergency, they can view it on the banner of their phone as well as press the “Notifications” button on their home screen to view the details. Parents are not alerted until after an emergency has cleared.

Once an emergency has been cleared, parents and students receive a notification. From the home screen, press “Notifications” and you can view the details.

For Parents: To turn on GPS to know the location of your child, press the “Settings” button and then select, “See your Children location”

Next, select “Go to Location” and you will see a dropped pin of where your child’s phone is.
